Biography

Troy has been working with real estate and spaces since 1997, in multiple capacities encompassing development, building design, construction management, investment and property management. He has lived abroad in London, Rome, Singapore and Japan, and has lived in China for the past 17 years. During this time he launched his own global investment platform on WeChat to build a community of like-minded global real estate investors. He also co-founded a real estate investment company that owns and manages a portfolio of nearly 20 rental units. His entrepreneurial spirit began long before that, with the launch of his own global architecture firm based in Shanghai. His firm designed, built, developed and managed over one million square feet of residential, retail and hospitality projects with clients such as Coca-Cola, Westin, Hines and Ritz-Carlton. In 2014, his company was absorbed by Ashley Furniture, where he subsequently led operations, design and real estate expansion of the company's 250 stores as the Director of Store Operations - China. In 2018, he joined WeWork China as Regional Head of Enterprise Services (Global Real Estate & Technology Firms), overseeing custom solutions for many Fortune 500 Companies' office and space requirements in Asia. He is a self-described "Excel Nerd" and has extensive experience scaling businesses. He is also a talented musician, competitive athlete and dedicated world explorer.
